Brush Cleaning Day!!

I had no idea how important it was to wash your brushes until I really started to research it and saw the downfalls of reusing your brushes over and over again. There are some brush cleaners out there, but I'm cheap so I'll use a baby shampoo to clean mine. It's gentle and won't break your face out. It freshens your brushes up and makes everything seem cleaner as it goes on your face!

One Thing I've Learned:

I never thought it was a big deal to take your makeup off nightly. I was, quite frankly, too lazy or just too busy to even care. But after being careless for so long, I've now started to remove my makeup nightly and apply a few products every night to keep my skin glowing & hopefully   *fingers crossed* wrinkle free. 

I will post pictures later of what I use as my night time regimen. Maybe y'all can share yours?

Maybeline Dream Highlighting Pen 😊

My first review is for this wonderful product "Dream Lumi."

This is a highlighting pen/concealer and works very well to highlight the parts of your face that the light hits.

I use it everyday. i put it on my upper cheek bones, bridge of my nose, above eyebrows, and cupid's bow (above upper lip)

The consistency of this product is medium and its not too runny or "cakey" as i call it. It provides medium coverage and does a great job to highlight those key areas listed above. Overall i give this product a 8/10.

Introduction

Hey Guys!!! :)

Please bare with me for the next few weeks as i gather my thoughts and get this blog started!
My intentions for this blog are vague and basic. Hoping that i get everything up and running...these are the goals i am hoping to acheive!

1. Give my advice on makeup and my personal rating on your everyday products. Because let's face it...in today's society, not everybody can afford to run to MAC or Sephora every other week. My intentions are to show you how to make cheaper, Wal-Mart/Walgreens products work. :)
